Incomplete, and/or incorrect documents within the collateral file may be an investor’s largest source of risk on a mortgage loan should the loan fall into default. We offer complete collateral review services to ensure that each document is complete, and properly executed/notarized by all parties. We also validate that the Security Instrument is recorded in the appropriate county to ensure that the asset you think is securing your loan truly is.
When collateral exceptions are found, our team will contact the appropriate third party whether a lender, another investor, title company, or county recorders office and work with the appropriate counterparty to clear the exception and restore the file to marketable standard.
All findings will be provided in clear, and easy to disseminate reports that will align with all major custodial management tracking requirements. Our team will also facilitate required document preparation, and delivery of final documents to your custodian.
